About Yabelo Wildlife Sanctuary
Yabelo Wildlife Sanctuary covers 2,496 km² of acacia-commiphora savanna on the road to the Kenyan border. It is the only place on Earth where two Ethiopian endemic birds — Stresemann's bush-crow and the white-tailed swallow — can be reliably seen. Additional draws: Borana pastoralist culture, Soda lakes of Abaya fringe, and 194 other bird species including Somali ostrich.
